Clients’ loyalty is extremely important. Especially for a smaller handmade brand. Because loyalty is what gives you a stable sales and income flow, and also lets you easily receive awesome reviews. What you have to do is just find out how to develop such kind of loyalty of your clients.
Below are three main effective ways to do that. Once you manage to implement them, you will definitely see great results in your sales and brand popularity.
The first way is personalization. In other words, this is some kind of emotional connection that gives your clients a special feeling of you always being there for them. To achieve that you need to know your ideal client very well. You need to know their motives, habits, preferences, and more importantly – their expectations.
Feeling lost at finding and attracting your ideal client? Not to worry! I teach how to do that (and also so many other effective tools for a handmade brand) in my Grow Your Handmade Brand e-guide. You should definitely check it out.
Speaking of personalization. Here are some possible ways to implement this strategy:
- Send a personal congratulation note to your clients
- Address your clients by name
- Send a message with a personal special offer
- Send a personal thank you note after the purchase
Also, try not to ignore questions and complaints left on your Instagram page. Your quick and polite answer can show your personal attitude.
Another way of growing your clients’ loyalty is loyalty programs. Quite obvious, right? Everyone wants to spend their money wisely and that’s what loyalty programs are for. What’s important here is that a client should understand that the loyalty program is not for everyone. It’s a special offer for returning clients.
The last way of making your clients loyal to your brand that I want to speak about today is minimizing and reversing all of your client’s possible objections and hesitations BEFORE they buy from you. Again, you need to know your ideal client very well.
Also, post your clients’ reviews everywhere on your Instagram page: feed, stories, highlights, and wherever else is possible. There’s a tutorial on how to get awesome revies in my Grow Your Handmade Brand e-guide. By the way, did you know that you should also use bad reviews and make them work for your brand? First of all, you can understand what’s not so good in your biz. And secondly, your right reaction to a bad review can switch off a negative attitude and turn a client into a loyal fan of your brand.
