Your posts reach and engagement rate is one of the most important insights on Instagram. That is because the overall success of your brand, as well as the amount of sales, depends on the engagement rate.
Today I want to discuss how you can increase it. That’s why I created a 7-steps tutorial on how to do that and get more sales from your Instagram.
Step 1. Be attentive to your followers. Always communicate with them by replying to their direct messages. It’s also good to welcome your new followers and visit their pages from time to time a leave meaningful comments to their posts.
Step 2. Reply to all the comments to your posts. Always. At least with one emoji. The less you do that, the fewer of your followers will stay with your brand. Instagram is a social network, so be social!
Step 3. Be authentic. And be you. Also, be curious. Try to deeply understand what your followers tell you and make your replies personal.
Step 4. Use and react to user-generated content. Appreciate people when they mention or recommend you and your items. It’s awesome if people post images with the items they purchased from you – you should definitely react and be grateful for that. You can reach two goals here: your customers will be flattered and will want to buy from you again, and potential clients will see your attitude and will trust you.
Step 5. Ask your followers about their opinion. It’s really important for growing your handmade brand because it’s a good and easy way to understand your clients’ needs and struggles. Besides, it will show your interest and attention to your audience.
Step 6. Never avoid opportunities for partnerships and collaborations. Community over competition is a really great concept.
Step 7. Work out a good closure for your captions. If you want your followers to answer you – ask questions. If you want them to do something (like follow the link in bio or mention a friend) – use a call to action. But keep your closure simple and don’t make your audience to do a lot of actions at once – that can lead to them doing nothing at all. These steps might seem too simple to make an effect, but I urge you to implement them and you’ll see the magic happens to your Instagram page!
